Films of 2010

In 2010 I saw a lot of a films, about 170. Here is my top and bottom 10, as well as some other films which are noteworthy.

Top 10
1. Inception
2. Toy Story 3
3. The Social Network

5. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
6. Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans
7. Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll
8.How To Train Your Dragon
9. Whip It
10. Made In Dagenham

Note: 1-2 scored 4.5/5,  3-8 scored 4/5 and 9-10 scored 3.5/5 (I've never had a 5/5 film)

Also worth a mention... Easy A, Monsters, Up In The Air, Invictus, The Ghost, Shutter Island, My Name Is Khan, The Blind Side, Greenburg, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Let Me In, The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest

Bottom 10

2. Fred: The Movie
3. Eat Pray Love
4. Vampires Suck
5. The Last Airbender
6. Alpha And Omega
7. Jonah Hex
8. All About Steve
9. MacGruber
10.Cats & Dogs: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore

Note: 1-6 scored 1.5/5 and 7-10 scored 2/5 (Never had lower than 1.5/5 yet, something below that I might actually walk out on)

A few more terrible films... Dinner For Schmucks, The Wolfman, Space Chimps 2: Zartog Strikes Back, Tooth Fairy, Saw 3D and Shrek Forever After

My biggest surprise of 2010 was Easy A. It didn't quite make my Top 10 but wasn't far off. I expected a terrible teen comedy and was amazed how got it was in comparison to my expectations.

My biggest let down of 2010 was The Lovely Bones. By no means is it a terrible film but I had really high hopes from Peter Jackson and in comparison to his other work it is terrible.

I did exclude a few films for various reasons, for instance Avatar (Special Edition) because I didn't feel it was a new release. I did include The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo even though technically it's a 2009 film because I only saw it in the cinema in 2010. Gulliver's Travels is also excluded because it was 2011 before I had chance to see it. Back To Future, Meet Me In St. Louis, Great Expectations, Singin' In The Rain, Some Like It Hot and Oliver Twist weren't included because they we either re-releases or special presentations.
